Attila Buzás Earns PhD Degree

Attila Buzás, a doctoral student of the Doctoral School of Earth Sciences at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), summarized the results of his scientific work carried out within the Atmospheric Physics Research Unit of our institute in his PhD dissertation. He successfully defended his thesis with a summa cum laude distinction on January 6, 2026.

The members of the doctoral committee were Dr. Gábor Timár (ELTE), chair; Dr. Márk Szijártó (ELTE), secretary; Dr. Mónika Lakatos (HungaroMet); Dr. Márta Diószeghy (HungaroMet); and Dr. Balázs Székely (ELTE). The dissertation was reviewed by Dr. Gábor Molnár (Óbuda University) and Dr. Péter Steinbach (ELTE).
